The Thin Layer Casting Method

The thin layer casting method is an improved form of a method used for thousands of years, the wax melting method (in this method the form is destroyed after use). Contrary to the old method, the form only needs a thin ceramic layer to work on. The surface is so fine that further work is not needed anymore. With this new casting method only a small amount of waste is produced (mostly ceramic). This was an important factor for using this method that the present owners looked into, because waste is not only uneconomical but environmentally unacceptable.
